002: A Novel Approach

As I said in my first post (don’t worry, you don’t have to read it), I’m working on several projects this year.

mr-busy-webFirst, and the most immediate, is Adventure Worlds. I am constantly working to bring new stories there (at least one a month) and have actually managed to get a few ahead. Horror is my forte but as you will see, I like to dabble in other areas as well.

Secondly and thirdly, is a book of short stories and a comic mini-series. The book is almost done and is comprised of several short horror stories I’ve written over the last couple of years. The comic is also horror (I told you, it’s my bread and butter), and should be coming out sometime this year as a three issue mini-series. Continue reading

Wait! Wait! Don’t leave. I know that you probably came here thinking I was somebody else, or, more likely, popped in by mistake. Still here? Good. Now that I have your attention, I am going to spend a few hundred words explaining why it is going to be worth your precious time heading back here from time to time.

A little about me first (don’t worry, I’ll make it quick and painless). My name is Christian Laforet and I fancy myself a writer. That doesn’t mean I’m a snooty know-it-all who hangs out at coffee shops all day talking about the downfall of society thanks to things like Fifty Shades of Grey or Twilight (although I do enjoy a fancy coffee from time-to-time and those books do suck).
